When: 1st July – 4th August Cost: £1,850 The team will help support four weeks of summer camps organised by an NGO called Compassion and supported by a number of local churches, as a way of reaching out to the poor. The camps are mostly made up of 11-16 year olds who come from some of the poorest areas of Recife. The idea is to give the young people an action-packed week with lots of fun, learning activities, sports, swimming and clear devotional times where Christ is presented as Saviour. You will be involved in the day to day running of the camps with a chance to help with English lessons, sports and activities, sharing of the gospel and plenty of waterfights... |
